Episode 0: Before the final boss
M

I am Software Engineer(Mobile) who is particularly enthusiastic about leveraging modern technologies to create user-friendly and scalable applications. I thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams to deliver exceptional software solutions. Follow along as I share my knowledge, insights, and experiences on Hashnode. I look forward to connecting with fellow developers, learning from the community, and contributing to the growth of the tech industry.

Starting as a Software Engineer, back in my humble days of HTML, CSS, and the well-known evil JavaScript, I kept hearing tales of the almighty final boss in a movie where villains always win: the infamous Data Structure and Algorithms(DSA).

DSA used to send me spiraling into a self-made abyss of fear. It was like having a toxic romance with my own imposter syndrome, whispering in dim corners, "Oh, I can never know and understand these runic patterns."

Looking back, younger me got scared way too easily. However, in my defense, the myths and horror stories circulating in the dev world left scars on my subconscious. After 3 years of FAFO(F***ing around and Finding Out), I came to a shocking conclusion:

After day, it is actually only night.

DSA isn't a monster; it is just a boring survival guide left behind by the very predecessors who unleashed these coding zombies on us(Don't ask me how they created them, I still blame C pointers).

I don't yet know what to call this series, but I believe I would be smitten by inspiration down the hill of my scribbles. This is my attempt to write about DSA in a fun and interactive way. So tighten your seatbelt, grab a bowl of popcorn, and let's hope you share my sense of humor.

“In the next episode, we talk about the myths, the campfire horror stories that made us think DSA is impossible.”

Hahaha, let's begin.

DSA Isn't Scary, You just need Popcorn

Part 1 of 1

A fun survival guide to Data Structures & Algorithms, minus the nightmares.
